Company history

Waikato Sandblasting Services was founded by Max Powell in 1981. Originally based on Morrinsville, the operation shifted to its current location in Hamilton back in 1992. Waikato Sandblasting Services in recent years was operated by Max’s sons Greg and Mark Powell who continue delivering the same quality sandblasting service that the family business was founded on. 

Waikato Sandblasting Services was sold to Perry Metal Protection in 2020.

Our team takes pride in delivering quality service with emphasis on customer support. The Waikato Sandblasting Services team is 14 strong, with an abundance of industry knowledge.
